Catherine has an exceptional understanding of human anatomy and its individual variations, combined with a rare gift for passing on that understanding in class. She also manages to include more varied work in a session than any other instructor we have met. As a result, in our 70s, we have both recovered everyday function that we thought was long gone, and our progress continues.

Catherine Huck's clinical yoga class was one of the best things I discovered while living in Oxford. I spend most of my day at the computer, and taking classes in person meant that I could get through the workweek pain-free. Now that I am outside of Oxford, I appreciate that I can get the same high quality of instruction anywhere that has an internet connect. I am on the road lot for work, so it is invaluable to have an exercise routine that can travel with me. Catherine's classes are engaging and enjoyable, and I especially love that there are different class lengths so they can fit into my schedule no matter what is on my plate.

Six years ago I was referred to Catherine for Physio by my GP after a back injury. Following an initial treatment she suggested yoga as a way of keeping fit and healthy. I’m 69 years old and have been going to her Clinical yoga classes twice a week for the last six years. I had been to classes in the past but Catherine's way of teaching was for me a completely new experience. Because of her medical background she has an intuitive sense about her students which makes her an extremely safe pair of hands.

It is all true you are unique in the way you work, and we all benefit from your deep understanding, on going curiosity and being pushed gently and safely

I have attended a number of different yoga classes, but Catherine's are by far my favourite and I have been attending her classes regularly for the past 5 years. I have never found anyone else who is able to offer the same personalisation to client's needs, attention to detail, and small class size, as well as expert yoga instruction. Due to her professional knowledge of physiotherapy and anatomy, she is able to apply yoga practice to build and maintain clients' strength and flexibility in very specific and effective ways. Whilst teaching classes that appeal to all levels of yoga practice, the small class size means that she is able to observe each individual, and so help them to understand their own body's needs and capability. She is passionate about ensuring her clients get the most out of their practice and her enthusiasm and friendly manner are motivational. So, I'd say: Good for the body, good for the mind, and good for setting you up for the rest of the day! Thank you Catherine!
